“This is the experience I want to share the most. I have a long-term partnership with the seller and often help him sell some premium 5N.com domains to Chinese clients. One day in early 2015, pleasantly surprised, I was told that his stock of more than 2,000 5N.com domains could be sold in bulk at a discount. So I immediately shared the news, and soon, a Chinese buyer accepted the offer excitedly. How big the potential market for 5N.com domain was! The domains were transferred from Network Solutions to eName, and during the transfer process their customer service has offered much help.

Many domainers knew that 5N.com domain transactions were not many in 2013, as the price was too high for most people. But soon, things changed. “The buyer was NetEase, a well-known company that has rigorous audit and financial processes, so it took longer than normal to complete the entire transaction. Although usually domain prices are only valid for a certain period of time, sellers will understand and agree to keep prices unchanged until the entire transaction is completed, as long as we communicate with them patiently and clearly. This time, too, though it took longer, both sides were happy throughout.”
